TORONTO — Eleven projects, ranging from a community-connecting highway to world-class hospitals, are vying for top honours at the 2025 National Awards for Innovation and Excellence in P3s, the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) announced recently.

The projects span four categories, with winners being announced at the P3 National Awards Gala Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 28, the final day of the P3 2025, Canada’s Infrastructure Conference, hosted in Toronto. The Lifetime Champion and Emerging Leader award recipients will also be honoured at the gala.

Here are your P3 project nominees:

P3 Transaction Category

  • Alberta P3 School Bundle 5 (P3SB5), Alberta

The national awards have been celebrating projects since 1998 and honour the country’s most forward-thinking infrastructure projects, highlighting the collaborative strength of partnerships between governments, educational institutions and the private sector, a release adds.
