The RW Collective, a fast-growing to-the-trade resource, will unveil its first-ever rug collection at market next week.

Launching under the brand, the inaugural collection features 14 rug styles available in multiple patterns. Imported from India, the rugs are crafted from 100% wool, 100% polyester or a blend of the two. With handwoven or partially handwoven constructions, each of the styles come in standard sizes, a few of the styles are also available in multiple colorways and some include runner sizes as well.

According to , executive vice president of product development, the new Threads Republic offering is designed to offer a range of clean, classic patterns with broad appeal, and the collection will expand to include the addition of more natural fibers like jute over time.

“We’re continuing down the path of creating a true, whole home, one-stop shop for both retailers and interior designers at The RW Collective,” Rankin said. “As design-focused retailers ourselves we bring a great deal of experience in rugs to our wholesale business.”

Among the offerings, the Samaira rug is a modern take on geometric design. Woven from wool in a soft taupe palette, its diamond pattern is enhanced with subtle texture, creating a modern-luxe look that pairs well with both contemporary and more transitional interiors.

Crafted in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary Catalonian artist, , Armadillo’s new Gaia collection marks the Australian-founded global rug company’s second design partnership, resulting in a series of rugs that enrich connections to the natural world.

“Entwining Carla’s artistry with the profound skills of our artisan weavers, these highly sculptural and painterly pieces are artworks in their own right and deserve to be appreciated like fine art,” said Jodie Fried, Armadillo co-founder.

Comprised of a series of six rug styles featuring unique hand-carvings and intricate weavings, each design evokes the transient cycles of nature and its effect upon the land – from the erosive energy of wind and salt to the influential impact of the sun and clouds.

Hand-crafted in premium New Zealand wool, pure silk, plus jute and linen, the texture of the hand-knotted and flat weave pieces celebrates ephemeral beauty.

“Combining durability with style, the flat weave rugs gently disguise their practical purpose given the sophisticated shading variations amongst their tightly woven fibers. They transform sanctuaries into tactile havens,” said Sally Pottharst, Armadillo co-founder.

“I’m drawn to natural materials, and the quiet strength that comes from paring things back and removing the superfluous to reveal the true essence of a piece. In this collection, every knot, every thread carries intention. Nothing was rushed; nothing was accidental,” said Alimbau.

A crafted tale of unparalleled detailing, the Marea range is named after the Spanish term for ‘tide.’ Dense, hand-knotted wool piles intricately carved by hand to create myriad smooth gradients reveal kinetic ripples inspired by the ebb and flow of the ocean.

Embodying a weathered beauty, Alma is a hand-knotted rug that reflects the earth’s gentle patina—a quiet reminder that all things shift and transform over time. Crafted from a silk and wool Persian knot cut, the ultra-low pile rug undergoes oxidation to produce lustrous textures and nuanced tonal gradations.

Imbuing both sense and sensibility, Palloza speaks of measured balance rather than excess.
