TORONTO — Hydro One Networks Inc. and the Society of United Professionals have announced that a tentative agreement has been reached for the collective agreement covering employees represented by the society, which includes engineering, supervisory and other professional roles, across Hydro One’s operations in Ontario.

According to a release, the tentative agreement remains subject to ratification by membership and if approved, it would take effect retroactively to Oct. 1, 2025.

Hydro One Limited, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, is Ontario’s largest electricity transmission and distribution provider with 1.5 million customers, $36.7 billion in assets as of Dec. 31, 2024, and annual revenues in 2024 of $8.5 billion.
