Cath Kidston, the British lifestyle brand known for its storied, hand-painted prints and refined, joyful aesthetic, is expanding into North America through four new strategic licensing agreements, including one in home.
Facilitated by licensing agency Beanstalk, the partnerships will introduce the brand’s designs across multiple lifestyle categories beginning in 2026.
The new licensee partners include:
- Britannica Home Fashions, Inc. – Fashion and basic bedding, throws, blankets, children’s and infant bedding, indoor accent rugs, curtains, valances, bath towels, mats and accessories.
- Dreamwear, Inc. – Women’s and girls’ sleepwear and intimates.
- Riley Blake Designs – Fabric, quilting and sewing project kits and accessories.
- Eccolo Ltd. – Stationery, gift wrap, and party supplies.
“This expansion leverages Cath Kidston‘s British heritage and joyful design to meet growing U.S. consumer demand for heritage-inspired lifestyle products,” the company noted in a release.
The initial rollout will begin this year, with seasonal refreshes and category extensions in subsequent years, including bath and body, home fragrance and accent furniture. Additional opportunities remain in women’s apparel and accessories, children’s categories (e.g., apparel, accessories, shoes, toys, etc.), and home categories.
“We know we have an established community of passionate Cath Kidston customers in the States,” said Holly Marler, head of creative for Cath Kidston. “We are delighted to be working alongside the expertise of our market-leading license partners to be able to offer a complete Cath Kidston lifestyle collection, bringing our synonymously joyful hand-painted prints to products designed for the U.S. market and distributed through the nation’s favorite retailers.
