HIGH POINT— Essentials For Living has opened its flagship showroom at 111 N. Wrenn St. in High Point, marking a major milestone for the family-owned furniture brand with nearly five decades of history. The company sells contemporary and transitional furniture for the entire home as well as home décor and accessories.  The Star International contemporary brand and the Orient Express transitional brand merged to form Essentials for Living in 1977.

Spanning more than 23,000 square feet and featuring a rooftop deck, the new location is designed to highlight the company’s collections in a warm, residential-style setting.

Each vignette showcases Essentials For Living’s blend of versatility, comfort and style while reflecting the brand’s Southern California-inspired aesthetic.

“This showroom represents the heart of who we are as a brand,” said , vice president of design. “From the architectural details to the finishing touches, every element reflects the quality, creativity and vision that define Essentials For Living. It’s more than a place to showcase furniture; it’s a space to inspire designers, retailers and customers to imagine how these pieces can transform a home.”

More than two years in the making, the showroom was developed in collaboration with a local design firm, architect and contractor. The space includes workstations for customers, a design center, a large entertainment area and a rooftop bar. Visitors can also enjoy breakfast, lunch and the company’s signature gelato during market.

Essentials For Living is based in Southern California. The company operates quick-ship warehouses on both coasts, serving retail, trade, e-commerce and direct container customers.
