NEW YORK — Renowned ceramic company Wayeland Gregory has launched a new bath accessories collection that includes a group of soap dispensers, trays and boxes, along with tissue box covers and wastebaskets that are all crafted in reverse-painted glass and mirror.
The collection is offered in four patterns, each available in six colors: Stone, Cream, Black, Green, Blue and Turquoise.
Highlights of the collection include the soft abstract Mosaic pattern, which is inspired by an original Waylande Gregory vintage ceramic design from the 1940s. The bold Jagged pattern takes a classic stripe and adds barbs for movement and edge.
“We wanted to make things that actually have a point of view, where the craft is visible and the color has real intention behind it,” said Bryan Downey, owner and creative director for the company, who is also the great-grandnephew of Waylande Gregory.
