GoodWeave International has launched a social media campaign entitled Global Luxury: Nepal, designed to educate consumers about the dynamic history, beautiful artistry and high-quality artisanal craftsmanship of Nepal’s hand-knotted rug industry.

Through this initiative, GoodWeave aims to raise awareness across the interior design industry and among consumers. Nepalese hand-knotted rugs are ultra-premium, often considered the best in craftsmanship and among the finest in the global luxury market.

The campaign will run on GoodWeave International’s Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn channels and will feature seven of GoodWeave’s Global Importers and their certified rugs produced in Nepal: 16Ten, Alicia D Keshashian, Edition 169, J.S. Hurd Design, Lotus Collection, Robin Gray and Slow Tiger.

“I’m excited to remind the global interior design industry and share with the world of the exceptional artisanal handwork that Nepal consistently delivers,” said Samjhana Pradhan, executive director of GoodWeave Certification Nepal. “The added value is that our best assurance of no child or forced labor is included.”
