HALIFAX, N.S. — CarbonCure Technologies, a CO₂ utilization solution for cement efficiency and reduced emissions in concrete production, has announced the appointment of Yuliya Kravtsov as its new CEO.
With more than two decades of executive experience, she brings 15 years in the building materials field specifically, most recently serving as head of integration at CRH, where she steered strategic growth of Sapphire Americas and orchestrated complex post-merger integration, explains a release.
Her career also includes senior leadership roles at Lafarge and Holcim, in addition to positions at Boston Consulting Group and Discover Financial.
“I’m very excited and proud to lead CarbonCure,” said Kravtsov in a statement. “This talented team has built an exceptional foundation: an innovative, drop-in technology, a business model rooted in producer profitability, rock solid customer relationships, deployment in hundreds of plants, and more than 10 million concrete truckloads, all serving as proof points of industry validation and value.”
Based near Chicago, Kravtsov holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and completed executive education at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
“Yuliya’s track record of driving growth and guiding teams through transformation makes her the ideal leader to guide CarbonCure’s global trajectory and tap into the accelerating demand for concrete decarbonization,” said CarbonCure’s Board Chair William Holden. “She has the industry expertise, the operational excellence and the strategic mindset that CarbonCure needs to scale.”
Kristal Kaye, CarbonCure’s chief financial officer, who served as interim CEO over the past year, will transition to the role of president and CFO.
