Decorative lampshades make a style statement and are in increasing demand, according to a few vendors at last month’s High Point Market. Many companies, such as Robert Abbey, Currey & Company and Pooky, have well-established lampshade programs that they continue to build.

In High Point last month, Jamie Young Company introduced a collection of lampshades that are sold separately. There are scalloped shapes available in raffia, white bouclé or natural linen (large and small sizes for each), and drum shade styles made from natural raffia and trimmed with linen. They come in three sizes: large, classic and medium.

After making lampshades for other programs, Adesso introduced a lampshade collection for its own Adesso brand. The printed shades come in four patterns.
