BURLINGTON, N.C. — Performance fabric supplier Sunbrella has introduced On The Road, a new collection inspired by the changing landscapes and color palettes encountered through travel.
The collection includes 16 patterns and 187 styles designed for both indoor and outdoor applications.
According to the company, the assortment blends foundational solids, textured weaves, jacquards and decorative patterns intended to give designers flexibility in layering colors, materials and textures across a variety of spaces.
The collection draws from earthy neutral tones, including sand, stone and mineral-inspired shades, while incorporating accents of coastal blues, botanical greens and sunbaked reds.
“The team was inspired by the feeling of being on a journey — watching the landscape change, discovering unexpected color combinations, and finding beauty in both the destination and the route itself,” said Greg Voorhis, executive director of global design at Sunbrella.

Among the featured introductions is Harvest, a textured striped fabric woven with bouclé yarn and recycled fibers that references seasonal landscapes. Lopi incorporates looped yarns inspired by Nordic knitting traditions to create dimensional texture, while Savane offers a linen-inspired appearance with blended tonal hues.
Additional introductions include Tundra, a woven construction influenced by hand-weaving techniques, and Wander, a softly textured fabric inspired by mineral formations and designed as a foundational layering fabric.
The collection continues Sunbrella’s focus on performance textiles, with fabrics manufactured using the company’s Color to the Core technology, which is designed to help resist fading, stains and everyday wear while maintaining color over time.
Founded in 1961, Sunbrella has developed performance fabrics for residential, commercial and marine applications. The company said the new collection is intended to balance durability with design flexibility for designers and consumers creating indoor and outdoor living spaces.
The On The Road collection is now available through Sunbrella. The company said members of its trade program can access preferred pricing and additional benefits on the new assortment.
