Decorative artist John Derian has collaborated with the Amsterdam-based company Doing Goods to launch a new collection of five leaf-shaped rugs based on Derian’s iconic antique imagery.
“Each rug is a little ode to nature, ready to bring personality and a touch of fun into any space,” Derian said. “Step onto these rugs and into a space where craftsmanship and creativity come together.”
The collection was photographed in Derian’s Cape Cod home, built in 1789, a place where history, art and design collide beautifully.
The Garden Croton Leaf rug combines organic forms with artistic expression. Featuring a bold heart-shaped design in vibrant green, red and ochre tones, the rug is inspired by the sculptural beauty of the garden croton leaf.
The Elephant Ear Leaf rug combines organic forms with artistic expression. Inspired by the lush tropical leaves of the Alocasia plant, this rug captures the organic grace of nature with its heart-shaped design and vibrant layers of green, red and soft blush tones.
The Ceriman Leaf rug combines organic forms with artistic expression. Inspired by tropical foliage, this eye-catching rug features a bold leaf shape with rich shades of green and deep pink.
The African Mask Leaf Rug combines organic forms with artistic expression, featuring a distinctive leaf-shaped design in rich tones of green and soft pink.
