Zooey Deschanel Home is being developed as a lifestyle collection spanning furniture, wallpaper, textiles, decorative accents, lighting, tabletop and kitchen products.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — BrandJourney has added Zooey Deschanel Home to its portfolio and will develop a home collection reflecting the actor and musician’s colorful, collected approach to personal style.
The lifestyle program is expected to span furniture, wallpaper, textiles, decorative accessories, lighting, tabletop and kitchen products. According to the licensing and brand management agency, the collection will emphasize layered patterns, expressive colors and details intended to give pieces a discovered or curated character.
“So much of my personal style has been shaped by the places I’ve lived, the places I’ve traveled, and the beautiful, unexpected things I’ve found along the way,” Deschanel said. “With Zooey Deschanel Home, I want to create a collection that helps people build rooms that feel personal, charming, and full of character — spaces that look like they’ve been gathered with love over time.”

BrandJourney will oversee licensing strategy, partner development, creative direction, product expansion and retail placement for the brand. Licensing and retail partnerships will be announced at a later date.
“Zooey has the rare kind of personal style that people immediately recognize, but it never feels manufactured,” BrandJourney President Laura Aldrich said. “Her taste is romantic, storied, colorful and collected. Aldrich said the planned collection aligns with consumer interest in interiors that feel individual and expressive, while offering enough flexibility to extend across numerous home categories.
Deschanel is known for her starring role in the television comedy “New Girl” and appearances in films including “Elf,” “Almost Famous” and “500 Days of Summer.” She is also one-half of the indie pop duo She & Him.
