DALLAS – Nearshoring America, the international sourcing initiative from Dallas Market Center (DMC) launched last year, is expanding its reach for 2026.
The sourcing initiative will have two separate expos during the month of January, according to a new release from DMC. The Nearshoring America Expo for home and gift will take place Jan. 7-9, 2026, on the 13th floor of the World Trade Center, coinciding with the Total Home & Gift Market. Nearshoring America for lighting will line up with DMC’s Lightovation, running Jan. 10-11, 2026, on the 4th floor of the Trade Mart.
“Nearshoring America is more than a sourcing event — it’s a learning environment and a launchpad for resilient, regional supply chains,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of DMC. “By aligning these expos with our most important trade events of the year, we are maximizing exposure and creating the most efficient, value-driven experience for our buyers and exhibitors.”
DMC launched the sourcing initiative last year in response to the uncertainty in the global supply chain. The events allow U.S. retailers the chance to meet with vetted sourcing partners throughout Latin America to help improve delivery speed, flexibility and collaboration.
“As importing becomes more challenging for logistical and geopolitical reasons, nearshoring offers a timely and strategic alternative,” said Brandon Levin, president at Justice Design Group. “Being able to connect with suppliers in the Americas — much closer to home — presents exciting new opportunities for our business.”
