BRESCIA, Italy – To mark the 10th anniversary of its iconic rechargeable table lamp, Bon Jour Unplugged by Philippe Starck, Flos is releasing a new edition with an updated color palette and technology.
Almost White, Faded Blue, Fresh Mint, French Rose, Stormy Grey and Black Chrome join the classic Copper and Chrome finishes. The signature transparent crown, previously available as an accessory, is now included as standard. The selection of interchangeable diffusers – Amber, Fumée, Fabric and Rattan – remains unchanged.
Bon Jour Unplugged is also introducing brand-new Color Tune light technology. Simply by holding down an optical sensor, users can precisely adjust the color of the light from a very warm white (2200°K) to a welcoming white (2700°K) up to a clear white (3000°K).
“A hopeful companion to carry around, with warmer and longer-lasting light to brighten up the future days to come. The Bon Jour Unplugged has a discreet elegance, now also joyful with its sentimental colors,” Starck said in a release.
