SAUSALITO, Calif. — Home furnishings brand Serena & Lily is launching a new editorial channel on its website, exploring various aspects of design and decorating.
The Library will delve into five key topics — design history, decorating with character, the art of hosting, personal stories and field guides — through insights from industry experts and curated by New York-based Olivia Hosken, whose credentials include serving as deputy managing editor at House Beautiful and style and interiors writer at Town & Country.
“Just as Serena & Lily aspires to beauty in the home from every angle, we are looking to explore the concept of home through fresh and nuanced perspectives,” said Hosken, editor of The Library. “There’s never been a better time for a furniture brand to tell its own stories and we do so with the intention of evolving how we see and speak about design, whether discussing the feminist undertone of the English roll arm sofa, the bonds of family in a multigenerational home and much more.”

Readers of The Library will have the opportunity to further engage with its themes and storytellers through “The Library Presents,” an ongoing series of events hosted across Serena & Lily’s 17 design shops in the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and West Coast. The Library’s content also will be shared through the brand’s social media channels and newsletters.
