KINGSTON, NY – The Kingston Design Connection will open its seventh this October, and is currently seeking interior designers interested in participating. The deadline to apply is August 1.

Located in the Kingston, N.Y., area, this year’s home was built in 1865 and includes such original features as a mansard roof. There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a receiving room. It will be open to the public October 10-26.

At the end of the showhouse period, the homeowner will be gifted all permanently installed items, including a custom kitchen, custom bathrooms, and more, in keeping with Kingston Design Showhouse’s mission to support local economic development while minimizing its environmental impact.

Current sponsors include , and , along with upstate New York makers and artists. Proceeds from the showhouse will benefit the Ulster Habitat for Humanity, as the showhouse has since 2022.

Last year, 11 designers took part of the showhouse, which was in a Colonial home from the 1800’s.
