
HALIFAX – Lindsay Construction’s Julius Boulevard net-zero industrial development project in Halifax has been recognized with two industry awards by the Tilt-Up Concrete Association.
The company was recognized in the 2025 Tilt-Up Achievement Award: Warehouse /Distribution and the inaugural Excellence in Sustainability + Resiliency Award categories.
Spanning approximately 400,000 square feet across two buildings, the Julius Boulevard project was completed in 2024 for HPB Bayers GP Inc., which is a partnership among Skyline Industrial REIT, Secure Capital and Leftside Developments, explains a release.
Designed and built by Lindsay Construction with architectural support by T.A. Scott Architecture + Design, the development features:
- A net-zero carbon energy design
- Onsite renewable energy generation
- High-performance tilt-up concrete panels
- Resilience to power outages through thermal mass and energy storage
- 31–35 bay doors, 40’ bay spacing and clear heights ranging from 32–40’
The 2025 Tilt-Up Achievement Awards recognize outstanding tilt-up concrete projects that exemplify excellence in design, engineering and construction, the release adds.
The project will be celebrated at the Tilt-Up Awards Gala on Oct. 1 in Nashville.
