Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 7,782,123-square-foot, 11-story above grade, 8,400-unit multi-residential development; for the renovation of a 378,000-square-foot, one-story above grade retail development; and one-story below grade, 2,522-space parking garage. Construction of 739,567 m2 of Gross Floor Area (GFA) including adaptive reuse of the existing heritage building, the Richard L. Hearn Generating Station site, power station building and development of seven new buildings with tower elements across the site. A mix of retail, commercial and other non-residential uses are proposed, together with 8,400 residential units and 2,522 vehicle parking spaces. Non-residential spaces could be 35,000 m2+ and will be determined further into design.
