Effective next Monday, Sept. 8, updated pricing will go into place for product lines across Momeni Rugs.

The company said it has worked diligently to hold prices steady despite significant challenges in the global market.

However, due to the geopolitical climate and tariffs, the company said it has reached a point where a price increase is necessary. It did not provide specifics on the new pricing.

“While we have absorbed these costs for as long as possible, these adjustments assure that we can continue to deliver the quality and service you expect from us,” the company said in a statement.

The company hopes that ongoing negotiations will bring relief and prevent further impact and will reassess the situation at the end of the year to determine if additional price increases are necessary.

Nourison Home will open a new showroom at 260 Fifth Avenue in New York to display a selection of the company’s key products including rugs, accent rugs, carpets and home accessories.

The new location, a few blocks north of the company’s previous showroom, is in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron district.

Steven Peykar, Nourison principal

“Our new showroom in New York will be the perfect backdrop for our products,” said Steven Peykar co-founder, Nourison Home. “It is a bright and airy space with lots of natural light. We’ve designed it to be both easily shoppable and welcoming to our customers.”

The showroom encompasses the entire fourth floor of the building, has taller ceilings and is larger than Nourison Home’s previous space. This allows the company to display both larger rugs in 8’x10′ racks and smaller products in custom hanging displays throughout the showroom.

The new showroom also includes custom designed shops for the company’s licensed brands, Calvin Klein and DNKY.

The showroom will be officially open for the September New York Textiles and Home Fashions Market, Sept. 15-18 and by appointment only during off-market times.
