Step into a room outfitted with Buster + Punch hardware, and you immediately notice the difference. It’s in the weight and click of a toggle switch under your fingers, the tactile satisfaction of a knurled dimmer knob, the subtle gleam of solid metal catching the light. These are not just switches or cabinet handles—they are small moments of luxury, carefully crafted to shift everyday interactions into design experiences.

London-based design studio Buster + Punch has long challenged the idea that home hardware should be invisible. Its latest expansions—the Linear Electricity Collection, now live online or through authorized dealers, and the Cast Collection, arriving this fall—push that philosophy even further, marrying industrial inspiration with precision craftsmanship and offering homeowners a new level of personalization and tactile engagement.

The Linear Electricity Collection reimagines light switches, dimmers, outlets, and USB modules as sculptural, interactive objects. Inspired by vintage hi-fi equipment and Swiss horology, each piece invites engagement, turning the simple act of flipping a switch into a moment of delight. Dimmer index rings are laser-etched for precision, toggles are knurled with architectural accuracy, and solid metal plates feature signature Torx screws, giving every detail a technical, deliberate feel.

The inspiration comes from Massimo Buster Minale’s fascination with tactile vintage electronics. He notes that “tactile amps and stacked hi-fi equipment have the perfect dimensions for dimmers and switches. When you use these classics, you experience a real physical connection with the function, and there’s an anticipation around what follows the action—the excitement of the rising volume or change of track. That feeling is exactly what I wanted to bring to the new Linear switches, dimmers, and outlets.” It’s this philosophy that shifts each piece from a purely functional object into an immersive, sensory experience.

Linear Detail Kits further highlight Buster + Punch’s modular philosophy, allowing users to swap between design languages—Cross, Linear, and soon Cast—without replacing the core electrical module. It’s a system designed to evolve with a space, offering endless possibilities for customization as tastes and interiors change over time. Available in finishes including white, black, steel, brass, and smoked bronze, and UL/ETL certified for North America, Linear Electricity makes functional hardware a moment of design pleasure.

Launching this fall, the Cast Collection brings Buster + Punch’s sculptural ethos to hardware and bathroom accessories. Inspired by industrial-era architecture, custom motorcycles, and oversized factory components, Cast celebrates imperfection with hand-cast solid metal bars, knurled grips, and knuckles. Welders Black and Steel finishes give each piece weight, authenticity, and tactile drama, allowing it to stand out as both functional hardware and sculptural art.

Designed to integrate across cabinets, electrical fittings, and bathroom accessories, Cast allows homeowners to create cohesive interiors where every detail feels intentional. The modularity of the system ensures a seamless design narrative across rooms, blending raw industrial aesthetics with contemporary refinement.

Since its founding in 2013, Buster + Punch has influenced what home accents can be. From private residences to high-profile collaborations with Travis Barker, Zwilling-Staub Cookware, and The Oppenheim Group, the studio demonstrates that luxury lives in the details. Each collection emphasizes not just appearance, but experience—the tactile, the precise, the unexpected thrill of interacting with something beautifully engineered.

Whether in a kitchen, a bathroom, or a curated living space, Linear and Cast pieces turn routine moments into small, deliberate acts of design appreciation. With the Linear Electricity Collection now live online and Cast arriving this fall, Buster + Punch continues to elevate functional home elements into tactile, design-forward experiences, merging utility, luxury, and personal expression in striking harmony.
