NEW YORK – Nourison Home is setting the tone for New York Home Fashions Market week with an expanded mix of DKNY and Calvin Klein designer rugs alongside texture-rich, performance-driven additions to its core collections.
As Paula Paquette, senior vice president of sales, explained to HTT: “This season, our collection reflects a fresh approach to style, performance and versatility, tailored to meet evolving consumer trends and retailer needs.”
This season’s new designs embody Nourison Home‘s brand values of craftsmanship, trend-forward design and sustainability while giving retailers “fresh opportunities to captivate customers this season,” she added.
The DKNY Collection introduces a fresh mix of contemporary style and everyday function, with soft-to-the-touch yarns such as chenille, intricate textures and practical non-skid backing. These designs reflect DKNY’s “signature urban sophistication” while offering comfort and ease of care for modern lifestyles.
The Calvin Klein Collection continues its focus on clean lines and refined textures at approachable price points. “Fashion-forward yet easy-to-fit designs make this line an ideal choice for a wide range of interiors,” Paquette said.
Across both brands, Nourison Home has focused on “affordable luxury – products that showcase tactile interest, fashion appeal, and practicality without compromising on design integrity,” Paquette added.
Within its in-house Nourison Home-branded assortment, new launches bow to texture. The Hillside line offers a broad assortment of designs with a soft hand and a printed non-skid backing. Ultra Comfort introduces an anti-fatigue mat that is easy to clean, stain resistant and available in “great up-to-date patterns,” she said.
Other highlights include Avalon, a modern take on the classic braided rug; and Vintage Home, a versatile low-profile, digitally printed rug designed for use in any room.
Nourison has also moved to a new Manhattan showroom at 260 Fifth Ave. The space occupies the building’s full fourth floor. Amenities include more square footage and taller ceilings, allowing the company to spotlight robust displays of iarea rugs, accent rugs, carpets and home accessories – as well as large 8’x10’ rugs and smaller products on easy-to-peruse custom hanging racks and vignettes.
The new showroom will be open during markets and by appointment.
