A major color statement I saw at Maison & Objet (and at retail in Belgium, Paris and Amsterdam) is what I call “luminous blue” or cobalt blue. I see it sneaking in everywhere, from home decor items including ceramic pitchers, vases, accent decor and synthetic crystal. I love seeing this saturated shade used as an accent in home decor as it is soothing, yet energetic. I find that luminous blue has a calming yet vibrant sensibility and works well as an accent color in any space. — Nancy Fire, Nancy Fire Designs

One of my favorite vendor displays was by the Italian company Arcucci Ceramics because they had a beautiful assortment of print, pattern and color. I was especially drawn to their use of geometric stripes paired in a horizontal and vertical layering format.

This petite accent table by Mario Luca Giusti (synthetic crystal) represents a very trendy and style both in color and design.
