HIGH POINT – Chelsea House will host three market events in its showroom at the upcoming fall High Point Market, open to all market attendees.
Designer Amanda Lindroth brings her signature style to Chelsea House with a collection of furniture, accessories and lighting with an elegant island vibe. Born and raised in Palm Beach, Florida, Lindroth’s childhood instilled in her a love of coastal living. After stints in Paris, New York and London, she relocated to the Bahamas in the early 2000’s and set up her interior design practice in 2010, bringing her signature style to the homes of island-dwellers all over the world. She authored her debut book Island Hopping in 2018 and launched her first homeware collection in the same year. On Saturday, October 27th Chelsea House will host a cocktail party and Lindroth will sign copies of her acclaimed new book, Island Dreaming. The party and book signing will be from 4 – 6 pm.

Pam Cain, president of Chelsea House told Home Accents Today there are 42 skus in the line now with more to come. “Furniture, lighting, mirrors, beds and decorative accessories. It has a broad price point range – wholesale it ranges from $22 to $2,600. There are two primary audiences (that cross over) – one is our audience of interior designers and high-end stores, and the second audience is the following that Amanda has already established. She has very loyal followers who love her style and her designs – her folks are passionate about her!”

On Sunday, October 26th at 11 a.m., Southern Home editor Lynn Terry will host a panel of expert designers as they explore how the smallest details — from trim and hardware to textures, finishes, and curated accents — can transform a space from good to extraordinary. Panelists include Edith-Anne Duncan owner of Edith-Anne Duncan Design, Eric Ross of Eric Ross Interiors and Mary Tobias Miller of Abode Home. After the panel, Edith-Anne Duncan will sign copies of her new book, Southern Sensibility.
Laurie Laizure of Interior Design Community will moderate a discussion on Monday, October 27th at 11 a.m. Participants include Jocelyn Hutt and Mariel Yohe of The Hutt Group along with award-winning designer Sharon Sherman of Thyme & Place Design. The panel will inform designers about how they can take control of their own PR efforts, including obtaining coverage in publications and speaking engagements. The panel will focus on actionable strategies, insider tips and a clear understanding of how to amplify their visibility and credibility in the marketplace.
