HAMILTON, ONT. — Fengate Asset Management recently broke ground on The Forty-Eight, a new rental community located at 48 Ferguson Ave. S. in Hamilton’s historic Corktown neighbourhood.

A LIUNA Pension Fund of Central and Eastern Canada (LPFCEC) project, the build is being developed in partnership with Fengate and The Hi-Rise Group.

It features a 29-storey tower with 417 new homes and is located within walking distance of the Hamilton GO Centre and two future Light Rail Transit stops.

Occupancy is planned for 2028.

Established in 1972, the LPFCEC is one of the fastest growing multi-employer pension funds across Canada, explains a release. It has over $12 billion in assets.
