LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Market delivered strong attendance numbers as exhibitors expressed an increase in new buyers, with some even saying it was “the best show we’ve ever had.”
Running Jan. 25-29 at World Market Center Las Vegas, the market brought in buyers from across the U.S. and internationally. According to a press release from show organizer Andmore, there was “notable growth” in first-time attendees and buyers, though specific attendance statistics were not provided.
“This was our first market here in our own brand showroom and it’s been fantastic. Buyers have been enthusiastic and highly engaged, coming from all over the U.S. to source new products,” Kristin Sprague, national sales and marketing director for Patchology, said. “We’ve met a lot of new buyers and Las Vegas Market did a great job helping cross-promote us, so attendees knew we were new. Being able to connect with so many new customers has given us a strong platform to build relationships, foster reorders and grow our business moving forward.”
Taylor Dickson and Brynn Albrech, co-owners of Buttermood Soap Studio shared similar sentiments: “For first-time exhibitors, the market exceeded expectations. Our goal in attending Las Vegas Market was to expand our clientele while sharing products that genuinely help people with their skin. Clean ingredients are at the core of what we do — and this market has allowed us to connect with businesses that truly value that approach.”
In addition to strong order writing, the market presented attendees with several industry events for education and social opportunities. The winter market honored several booths for their innovative designs and recognized several products as Market Snapshot winners.
“This is our first time returning to market in seven years, and our goal was simply to reconnect and reach West Coast customers — and it’s proven to be a great decision,” Julie and Christopher Tassy, co-owners of Ella B. Candles, said. “We’ve seen a steady flow of buyers and written solid orders throughout the market. As a husband-and-wife team, we focus on supporting smaller, independent retailers and we don’t sell direct-to-consumers and third-party platforms, which gives our customers a level of exclusivity they really value. Overall, the response has been very encouraging, and we’re glad to be back at Las Vegas Market.”
The summer edition of Las Vegas Market is scheduled for July 26-30.
