HIGH POINT — California-based contemporary home furnishings brand Armen Living is opening the doors on its new 12,000-square-foot showroom, as well as celebrating a milestone anniversary during the upcoming High Point Market.

The new showrooms is located at 417 S.

“We could not be more thrilled for how all of the stars have aligned with our recent acquisition and purchase of a property in High Point,” said Kevin Kevonian, owner, president and CEO, of and Uwharrie Outdoor Living.

In addition to welcoming marketgoers to its new showroom, Armen Living will celebrate the for its national sales manager, , with a market party on April 26.

“To be able to honor Reb Nicholson’s 100th anniversary in our new showroom and bring the design and trade community together is an incredible feeling,” said Kevonian. “We look forward to celebrating with our industry and to shining a light on Reb’s impressive career, his dedication to his craft and to our unstoppable sales team for both our iconic brands.”

Nicholson began his furniture industry career in 1972 with retailer Levitz Furniture, eventually becoming a buyer for several categories for 13 stores across the Mid-Atlantic and in the Northeast.

From Levitz, Nicholson moved on to B. Bugatch Furniture, The Lane Co., Stoneville Furniture, The Powell Company, Magnussen Home, Designmaster and Classic Home. He joined Armen Living five years ago as national sales manager.

Armen Living’s market celebration is set for 5-8 p.m., April 26, at its new showroom location.  The celebration will include catering, craft cocktails, draft beer and a full bar, and attendees are invited to RSVP to attend.

Also part of the festivities, Armen Living has tapped industry talent, Ray Allegrezza and the all-industry-led band “The ” (Allegrezza on lead guitar, Jodie Davis on guitar, Jerry Farmer on bass and David Madora on drums).
