tHIGH POINT — unveiled four trends for 2027 at this week’s : , , and .

Jayze Anna Mize, vice president, advisory and partnerships, unpacked the details. “The trends are cultivated with three algorithms and a full team of merchants (about 50) that really understand retail and the consumer based off of work history and methodology,” said Mize.  She added that trends are evolving much slower than they ever have.

Future Snoops believes this a season of rediscovery, craft, and creative perspective and together, the four trends form a creative framework of reworking beauty.

trends - exhaleExhale: The heightened need for environments that feel grounded and steady drove the trend Exhale.

Future Snoops describes exhale as “ a quiet tide rolls in, unhurried and inevitable. Exhale reimagines coastal living through a paired-back lens, where sun-bleached sands meet architectural clarity and salt-stained air settles over pared-back forms.

“Exhale reflects a consumer in recalibration. After years of visual noise, there is a growing desire for pause, interiors designed to feel like a deep breath rather than another stimulus.”

trends - swift

Swift: Consumers embracing slower rhythms and a sharpened masculine edge is redefining a coastal, mature and self-assured expression.

Future Snoops says Swift “reflects a desire for escape without disengagement, spaces that capture the ease of coastal living while supporting life in motion. Inspired by European shores, interiors balance refinement and relaxation. Tailored stripes, sun-washed tones and tactile materials bring a sense of warmth, light and quiet sensuality.

“Performance meets comfort, as durable fabrics and breathable structures are softened through touch and finish. Swift speaks to a lifestyle of cultivated ease, where movement and stillness coexist, and design enhances the experience of living. “

Combe: Consumers are yearning to embrace a slower pace of life and a slower pace of consuming. This shift reflects a growing distance to the relentless churn of trends and disposability.

“Combe reflects a return to the land, an instinctive pull towards materials, spaces, and rituals that feel grounded and enduring, offering a renewed take on rustic living,” said Future Snoops. “Materials are chosen to age and evolves, softening with use and gaining depth over time: aged wood, stone fireplaces, heirloom textiles, architecture with soul.

“Combe speaks to a slower, more intentional way of living, where home becomes a refuse, and beauty is found in presence, ritual and the passage of time.”

Revive: Carefree eclecticism of the bohemia revival is influencing this shift. It’s less about visual abundance and more about soulful resonance.

Future Snoops says Revive is a collective called to reawake. “ It does not seek what’s next, instead it uncovers what already lives within reach. It reflects a return to the human touch. In an age of automation, materials that carry the mark of the make, irregular, worn and time-shaped, hold new value.

” It draws strength from natures andurance and the soulful hand of carft, where time, touch and intention leave their market. Revive speaks to a desire for what endures: grounded, storied design shaped by time, touch and intention.
