Central Quay includes two interlinked 23-storey towers comprising 718 apartments, as well as a concierge, lobby, gym, gardens, roof gardens and terraces, and nearly 20,000 sq ft of leisure and retail space.
Phase one of the development is now complete and Kimpton’s £6.7m heating, ventilation and plumbing installation reflects, the company says, its high-specification and the importance of sustainability within the build.
To minimise water waste and deliver plentiful supply suitable for families, 200-litre internal heat pump cylinders have been installed, while a multi-extract vent system and heat recovery system maximise efficiency and ensure any heat generated is cleaned and recycled.
