HIGH POINT — Through Sept. 11, the Bambi International Foundation, an American charity dedicated to raising funds to support Latin America, is holding Design for Hope, an exclusive silent auction featuring three collectible design pieces.
All the funds raised by this silent auction will go to support the charity’s earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela and helping children and families affected by the recent disaster. On June 24, a pair of earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 occurred in northern Venezuela, west of Caracas. More than 6,000 people have died, according to reports.
The auction features three design pieces, each personally selected by a Venezuelan interior designer.
Founder of KVN Design, Karianna de la Vega selected a handcrafted Butterfly Murano Bowl for its symbolism of freedom, transformation and hope. For her, it reflects a heartfelt wish for Venezuela to embrace renewal, peace and a brighter future.
“It symbolizes my wish for Venezuela to enter a new era of renewal, peace and brighter days ahead,” de la Vega said.
Founder of BEA Interiors Design, Bea Pernia, selected the Londres Leather Green Necklace for its timeless craftsmanship and versatility.

Founder of Rosario Esperante Design, Rosario Esperante selected Moldes artwork by Scaranos for its ability to become a striking focal point in any interior.

All the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated directly to the Bambi International Foundation to support victims of the Venezuelan earthquake.
