Located within the South Stand, the new area features a rail barrier fitted in front of the existing seating, with each supporter allocated a designated numbered position.
The barrier runs as a single, continuous rail across each row of seats, and is designed to improve crowd management, reduce the risk of overcrowding and provide supporters with a safer standing environment.
Majestic Construction was appointed to deliver the project following its longstanding relationship with Huddersfield Town, having successfully completed a number of projects for the Club over the past five years, including new press area, more directors’ seats, large screen installation and water stations to reduce single use plastic bottles.
The appointment further strengthens the partnership between the two organisations following Majestic Construction’s recent renewal as Huddersfield Town’s official construction partner for the 2026/27 season and beyond under a new two-year agreement.
The completion of the safe standing area also sees Huddersfield Town join six other EFL League One clubs to introduce the initiative.
