
HIGH POINT – The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame will host a range of social and educational events at the upcoming High Point Market, Oct. 25-29.
The events, which will take place at the Hall of Fame building at 311 S. Hamilton St., will honor inductees and host seminars, workshops and meetings.
Opened in April 2023, the space provides a place for the home furnishings industry and the public to gather and learn, For the fall market, the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame will also be opening a new lighting and trend exhibit.

Schedule of events:
- Saturday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. – Ribbon Cutting for New Exhibit: Art of Illumination. The new lighting exhibit explores the major role that quality lighting plays in delivering fashion and function to homes. The exhibit will show the evolution of lighting over time and is designed to inspire and amaze consumers and industry veterans alike.
- Saturday, Oct. 25, 5-6 p.m. – American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Brick Dedication: Pathways of Honor. Held at the Wanek Family and Ashley Furniture Inds. Eternal Flame, the Roll Call of 42 individuals and organizations placing engraved bricks will be acknowledged during a brief ceremony at 5:15 p.m., but the dedication ceremony will last the entire hour.
- Sunday, Oct. 26, 12-12:30 p.m. – Pinning Ceremony/Celebration. The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation will present the Hall of Fame pin to this year’s inductees, along with uncovering their plaques on the Wall of Fame and dedicating bricks that will be permanently placed in the Walk of Fame.
- Monday, Oct. 27, 2 p.m. – Trend Seminar: The AI-Fueled Future of Interiors. Moderated by Jaye Anna Mize, vice president of advisory and partnerships at Future Snoops, a panel will explore how AI is reshaping creative direction, operational efficiency and customer engagement, and share practical ways to harness it without sacrificing originality.
