The decorative accessories category, which includes items such as vases and bowls, sculpture, boxes and trays, and other objets, accounts for 37% of total home accent sales, and it experienced the largest percentage of sales growth in 2025.

Growth was highest in the discount and of-price retail segment, followed by e-commerce, home accents stores and interior design channels.

Total home accents sales across seven categories will rise to an estimated $86.1 billion this year, up 1.2% over 2024’s $85.06 billion mark, according to the 2025 Universe Report. More information about that report can be found here.
