DALLAS — Designer Christoper Todd Hall unveiled his new wallpaper collection with Wall Snobs at market here in Dallas this week.
Playful designs —olives, lipstick tubes, tacos, flamingoes —and clever tweaks of classic design motifs, like the “Greek T” and a series of martini glasses arranged to resemble a formal garden, allow the designer’s whimsical nature to shine through.
“I had been collecting pictures of things I liked,” said Hall during the Total Home & Gift Market. “[Wall Pops owner Kaylee Black] said to come up with six to eight patterns and we wound up doing 25. I kept sending her things for inspiration and she kept making them.”

Among the patterns is a flamingo design in orange, pink and black with the birds face to face in a heart shape. “I love flamingoes. I don’t know why but I always have,” said Hall. I found an Art Déco pattern with curves on top of each other. I loved it. I thought, If we could incorporate flamingoes … I named it Donna Deco, after a client in Florida who loves flamingoes.”
“Working with Christopher was great,” said Black. “He’s very creative and unique. His vision for pattern was fun to work with alongside him. He helped guide me in making his patterns unique and structured.”
Wall Snobs is a family-owned company that designs and prints its line in Fort Worth, Texas. It’s best known for some of its landscape mural designs and a customizable ranch toile, and its wallpaper is available in seven substrates, from standard matte to commercially rated products and natural grass cloth.
Every Christoper Todd Hall design can be made in any of the seven substrates. “So, some patterns I thought would look great in the lustrous metallic; others look great in grass cloth,” said Black. The designs can also be color-matched and printed as murals.
The collection will be available on the Wall Snobs website next week.
Hall also took home the Design Studio ARTS Award over the weekend. It is his second ARTS Award.
