PRINCETON, N.J. – Miele has launched its program, called Masters, tapping five designers for the founding class: Tiffany Brooks, Tamara Feldman, Luis Fernandez, Jay Jeffers and Leyden Lewis.

The designers will serve as brand ambassadors through 2027 both nationally and in their home cities of Chicago (Brooks), Miami (Feldman), Los Angeles (Fernandez), San Francisco (Jeffers) and New York (Lewis). Each will bring their unique aesthetics and specialties to the program, which will include project collaborations, social media content and local showroom programming. They will also integrate Miele products into his or her own signature design project, which will serve as a case study for the brand, the company said.

“At Miele, we know architects and designers hold the key to our kitchens,” said Catherine Grayson-Roper, vice president of marketing, Miele USA and Mexico. “By working hand-in-hand with this remarkable group of designers who have become our , our aim is to intentionally introduce Miele to more professionals and homeowners than ever before. Jeffers heads Inc., with offices in San Francisco and New York, and co-owns The Madrona, a boutique hotel in the Sonoma wine country; his next book, “Modern Classic,” is set for release in fall .

An artist, designer, furniture maker and creative entrepreneur, Lewis was trained in architecture and grounded in a deep appreciation for art and design history; he draws inspiration from Caribbean art and design, as well as the pattern-making, textiles, furniture, and color traditions of Africa, Asia and Southeast Asia.
