The scheme aims to provide high-quality, genuinely affordable homes for local people, supporting the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in addressing acute housing need while contributing to the wider regeneration of the area.

Improvement works to the nearby Jasmine Park play space began in May 2026 as part of the wider regeneration programme. Following the completion of demolition works, main construction of the Clare House redevelopment is scheduled to begin in April 2027, with completion anticipated in 2029.

The appointment builds on an established relationship between Clarion and Hill, who have successfully partnered on a number of developments. This continued collaboration reflects, Clarion says, a shared commitment to quality, delivery and creating sustainable communities.

Clare House has been redesigned to deliver sustainable, well-built homes that meet modern standards, with a focus on energy efficiency and long-term performance. As a 100% social rent scheme, it underlines Clarion’s commitment to prioritising the delivery of homes for those most in need.
