NEW YORK — Officials from the Kips Bay Decorator Show House announced the location for the 2026 Show House and the address comes with a historic pedigree.

In a return to , the 2026 Kips Bay location will be at 80 W. Washington Place, a historic 19th-century townhouse once owned by renowned composer John Philip Sousa and later by Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott. The 1839 Georgian red-brick townhouse has been restored to preserve its architectural heritage and features six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, approximately 8,700 square feet of interior living space and four landscaped private terraces with 1,566 square feet.

Open to the public for four weeks beginning Sept. 16, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House is a premier design event benefiting the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The 22-foot-wide residence is listed on the historic register and offered for sale at $21 million, represented by Melissa Olson of Douglass Elliman.

“Over nearly two centuries, 80 W. Washington Place has been home to notable figures and thoughtfully cared for by generations of owners,” said Elliman. “It’s a residence with a remarkable story, and welcoming the Kips Bay Decorator Show House feels like a natural next chapter, one that honors the home’s legacy while showcasing the extraordinary creativity that defines the design world today.”

Spanning six levels, the home includes a skylit media lounge with a 700-bottle wine cellar, a double-height great room opening to a landscaped garden, a full-floor primary suite with private terrace and a rooftop deck with views of Washington Square Park. Key features include a private elevator, multiple outdoor living areas, two interior chef’s kitchens, two outdoor kitchens, and a dedicated wellness level with gym and glass-enclosed sauna.

Since 1973, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House has showcased interior design by transforming a luxury Manhattan property into an exhibition of extraordinary designs with fine furnishings, art, and technology. The Show House receives as many as 15,000 guests annually from across the nation and the event has raised more than $33 million for over 14,000 New York City children.

The Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club has focused on improving and enhancing the lives of New York City’s children who are economically, socially or recreationally disadvantaged since 1915. Each year, Kips Bay offers innovative programs to more than 14,000 young people between the ages of 6 and 18 at nine locations throughout the Bronx, with essential after-school programs aimed to help them recognize their potential for growth and success. Today, the club is one of the most prominent and responsive youth development agencies in New York City and a “flagship” of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The Show House has since opened additional locations in Palm Beach, Fla., and in Dallas.
