As the voice of more than 2,500 characters in animated TV shows, movies and video games, including “The Loud House,” “Scooby-Doo” and “The Simpsons,” Grey DeLisle’s work is lively and engaging. Her home in Pasadena, Calif., is the same way.
The exterior of the 1908 Craftsman house is painted in shades of sage green and salmon pink. Inside, original dark wood wainscoting remains, but is enhanced with walls and ceilings covered in boldly patterned wallpaper. The design of her kitchen is based on a red 1940s O’Keefe & Merritt stove. And her dining room is centered on a life-size wooden cowboy sculpture named Slim that she bought when she was 24.
“It’s the longest relationship I’ve had with a man,” said Ms. DeLisle, now 52, because she has been married and divorced three times.
