Angela Adams, the Portland, Maine, design company known for its landscape area rugs, has introduced a collection of what it calls “mug rugs“, which are designed to “transform any home, studio, or workspace into a mini oasis.”
The small rugs draw inspiration from the natural world, a core principle of Angela Adams’ design philosophy.
The rugs are available in various designs, including Ocean, Garden, Woodland and Urchin, intended to bring the beauty of nature to homes.
At Angela Adams, the goal of the designers is to create products that enhance daily life and add positive energy through comforting design, color, and pattern.
“These new mug rugs are a perfect extension of that mission,” according to a company representative.

June St. George, the home décor brand known for its heirloom-quality rugs, is now offering the Kintsugi Collection, an homage to the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold.
Drawing inspiration from her own life, founder and designer Ally-Catherine Trenary created the collection as a tribute to resilience and community.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, her father gifted Kintsugi ceramics to those who helped their family through difficult times, each piece a symbol of strength through adversity. That meaningful gesture now lives on in textile form through June St. George’s Kintsugi Collection.
Each rug in the collection mirrors the delicate cracks of Kintsugi pottery, reimagined in bold, modern designs. Like all June St. George creations, each Kintsugi rug carries deep personal significance. Through her work, Trenary extends intimate stories into her designs, inviting consumers to bring meaningful beauty into their own spaces or to share it as a gift.

June St. George has also introduced the new Asheville Rug, hand-woven from soft New Zealand wool, in gray and green tones.
Trenary said she draws inspiration from her world travels, and particularly from her studies in London. The company’s name pays homage to London through the patron saint, St. George, as well as honoring her beloved dog, June Sailor Pansy.

Dixon Rye has launched the Amadi Rug Collection featuring five distinctive hand-knotted pieces that showcase craftsmanship and design. Dixon Rye’s Bradley Odom said the Amadi family has been creating handmade rugs for clients worldwide, offering limitless customization and artistry that places their work in a class of its own.
Drawing inspiration from the natural stratification of rugged terrains, these hand-knotted wool rugs capture the organic beauty of weathered stone and sediment layers. The painterly compositions feature earthy palettes of ochre, rust, olive green, slate blue and charcoal, echoing the shifting tones and textures found in canyon walls and ancient rock formations.
The company said each piece embodies exceptional artistry through its abstract, layered design.
Dixon Rye is also introducing three other collections that include new dinnerware and sofas.
The Meloy Dinnerware Collection – A handcrafted collaboration between Bradley Odom and Chef Zack Meloy, bringing culinary expertise to ceramic design.
The Carmel Sofa – A designer favorite featuring sleek curves, unexpected blade-style legs, and Lancaster’s renowned comfort.
The Jasper Sofa – Lancaster’s newest silhouette combining deep seating with a striking stepped track arm and wood-footed base.
