
MUSKOKA, ONT. — ThirdGen Timber Group, the parent company of True North Log & Timber Homes and Legacy North Construction Management, has announced it has acquired a majority stake in Canadian Timberframes Ltd.
With the addition of Canadian Timberframes, ThirdGen Timber Group now offers expertise and solutions across log homes, timber frames and mass timber construction, explains a release.
“This is more than a business transaction — it’s a partnership that strengthens Canadian log and timber building for the future,” said Mark Wrightman, co-owner of ThirdGen Timber Group, in a statement. “Together, we’re building the most complete log and timber offering in North America — expanding our ability to deliver complex projects, innovate in sustainable design, and create new opportunities for our people and partners.”
Canadian Timberframes is based in Golden, B.C. and has been crafting timber structures for 25 years. The company is known for its access to Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and a team of highly skilled craftspeople, the release continues.
True North Log & Timber Homes, headquartered in Muskoka, Ont., is entering its 40th year.
Legacy North Construction Management has been serving clients for nearly 20 years as a specialist in high-end custom homes and project execution.
According to the companies, it completes the groups’ offering, providing end-to-end solutions in log and timber design, project management and construction.
