LARGO, Fla. — has acquired JJ&J Custom Home, a private-label pillow and custom soft goods supplier. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition expands Wendover’s capabilities within Kevin O’Brien Studio, which it acquired in 2023, enhances its position in the luxury textile and soft-goods market, and introduces COM (customer’s own material) production capabilities for its growing interior designer customer base, the company said. It is the company’s fourth acquisition in the past three years.

“We are delighted to welcome JJ&J Custom Home to the Wendover team,” said Wendover CEO in an announcement Wednesday evening. “Their outstanding craftsmanship, commitment to quality, and deep understanding of the designer trade are perfectly aligned with our mission to elevate artisanal, design-driven products. This acquisition enables us to broaden our textile and soft-goods offerings and better serve our customers nationwide.”

Founded in 1998 by , a Fashion Institute graduate and veteran of the New York City garment center, JJ&J Custom Home produces hand-crafted pillows and soft goods, supplying private-label products to American interior brands and bespoke goods to interior designers and decorators, according to Wendover. Its workshop in Brookfield, Conn., is equipped to support both small-batch bespoke work and larger production runs.

As part of the transition, JoAnn Simon will partner with Wendover’s product development and sewing teams in its company headquarters in Largo, Fla., sharing her expertise in custom fabrication. The Connecticut workroom will continue to operate as an integral part of Wendover’s soft-goods production and maintain its long-standing relationships with designers and private-label partners.

“Joining Wendover Art Group marks an exciting new chapter for JJ&J Custom Home,” said Simon. “I’m thrilled to share our expertise and continue growing a culture of craftsmanship that values quality, creativity and collaboration.”

Wendover Art Group was founded in 2005 as a small poster print company and has grown into a multi-channel of American-made artwork, mirrors, wallcoverings, lighting, textiles, bed swings, and sculptures.

It acquired Lowcountry Originals, a South Carolina-based maker of hand-forged lighting, bed swings, mirrors, and sculpture, in 2022. In 2023, the company added Kevin O’ Brien, a textile studio known for hand-dyed velvet pillows and bedding, and Friedman Brothers Mirrors, a 120-year-old decorative mirror and furniture accessories manufacturer, to its portfolio.

In a Portrait interview with Home Accents Today last month, Forsyth described Wendover as a growth company with its greatest potential still ahead of it, and said its recent acquisitions allow it to offer a broader product and customer base.
