Industry experts will host honest business discussions Jan. 8-9 during the Total Home & Gift Market in Dallas.
Retailers heading to Dallas next month should save some space in their schedules to network and soak up business advice from industry experts. The show will once again host its seminar series, “Speaking of Retail: A Collective of Conversations,” to engage market attendees in conversations about important business topics. Scheduled for Jan. 8-9, the series is presented by Coco & Dash, ART, and Dallas Market Center. The sessions are open to all market attendees and will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Textile Salon, IHDC 2F215.
On Thursday, Jan. 8, the topic is “Retail is Alive: Navigating New Challenges in the Home & Gift Marketplace.” The conversation will cover challenges facing retailers today and the strategies driving success. Panelists will share real-world insights on how creativity, connection and adaptability are keeping brick-and-mortar thriving. The moderators are Teddie and Courtney Garrigan, founders of Dallas store Coco & Dash. Panelists include Vicky Serany, founder and principal designer of Southern Studio; and Elizabeth Mast, owner of Talulah Hess.
On Friday, Jan. 9, the topic is “Working with Reps: Building Partnerships that Drive Business.” This discussion looks at how strong relationships between retailers and reps can shape real results. Panelists share how communication, collaboration and trust create partnerships that support growth and long-term success. The moderators are Teddie and Courtney Garrigan of Coco & Dash. Panelists include Martha Graham, principal of Martha Graham and Associates, and Russ Jones, sales representative with Ivystone.
