“The name simply came from my realization that in hindsight I’m really smarter about what went wrong as well as appreciating all that was successful,” said Gold. “In hindsight, I’ve learned how to make better decisions.”

Having learned from what he calls some of the greatest merchants of the 20th century — Marvin Traub, Lester Gribetz and Carl Levine from Bloomingdale’s — Gold is ready to help clients look at their industry and ask themselves what they could do “different and better,” as he did from the beginning.
