DENVER — Havenly Brands, which has made a series of acquisitions over the past few years, has added to its portfolio once again, bringing on board The Expert, an interior designer and trade-focused online brand.

The companies view this agreement, under which The Expert will continue as a standalone experience, as deeply complementary, with Havenly bringing scale, infrastructure and proprietary technology and The Expert supplying cultural credibility, taste leadership and trust of the trade.

The Expert will have access to Havenly Brands’ technology, including AI-assisted product discovery and integrated AI-powered workflows, and products from its brands, including Interior Define, The Citizenry and St. Frank.

The plan is to also build a service platform that supports designers across the full lifecycle of a project from early sourcing to concept development through procurement, logistics and financial management.
