NEW ORLEANS – Luxury home décor and servewear brand Beatriz Ball plans to donate 100% of the profits from all sales of two new items during April, Autism Awareness month, to an organization that advocates for those with autism.
The items include an Autism Awareness keychain and a holiday ornament featuring the traditional puzzle piece, which symbolizes support for those with autism.
The inspiration for this cause is Beatriz’s grandson Bo, the youngest of her 13 grandchildren, who was diagnosed at age 3. Bo is now 13 years old, and his greatest joy is being with his big extended family and traveling whenever he can.
This summer, for the second year in a row, Bo will attend Camp Benny in Colorado, which allows kids with autism to experience adventure and independence.
As a part of its corporate sponsorship program, Beatriz Ball provides a scholarship each year for children to attend three weeks at Camp Benny.

Autism Speaks is an autism advocacy charity and the largest autism research organization in the United States, with outreach aimed at families, the government and the public.
