Modern Forms, a division of , recently introduced a new series of fans that it says are designed to combine air movement, lighting and smart controls into a seamless system that complements the room design.

“Our ultimate goal is to add value and create a premium ceiling fan line that remains within reach for end users,” said Alex Ostrovsky, executive director of business and product development for smart fans at WAC Group.

‘  bring together “beautiful design, adjustable lighting and intelligent control,” he said. “The result is a fan that doesn’t just cool the room. It becomes part of how the space feels and functions every day.”

New smart fans from Modern Forms feature aerodynamic blade profiles, wrapped wood accents for dimensional texture, natural Spanish alabaster, rippled injection molded acrylic and reclaimed K5 crystal diffusers. The smart ceiling fans connect to a or home automation system, allowing homeowners to control fan speed, lighting, and schedules from a phone, remote or wall control.

WAC Group said its latest designs reflect a broader trend within the lighting industry toward natural elements and tactile finishes. Its Crown ceiling fan, for example, has a sculptural alabaster diffuser and integrated, tunable LEDs that deliver both uplight and downlight, and its Carve collection introduces natural wood blades in finishes like white oak and honey oak.

Modern Forms has also integrated lighting into its fans that allows users to adjust color temperature across a broad spectrum; a few offer a natural lighting mode that automatically changes the light throughout the day to follow the sun’s cycle.

“This capability reflects a growing industry emphasis on human-centric lighting, where lighting design contributes not only to visibility but also to comfort and well-being,” the company said.

Many of the new fans have enhanced LED output, providing as much light as other light fixtures, according to WAC Group.
