I Dig Texas of Marble Falls, Texas, offers a range of skid steer attachments designed for land clearing, brush handling and material management applications.

Among those is the AMFG King Kong Brush Grapple, a heavy-duty grapple designed for high-horsepower compact track loaders working in demanding clearing environments.

According to I Dig Texas, the King Kong Brush Grapple was developed specifically for contractors and land clearing crews operating 100-hp-plus forestry machines in daily production applications.

The grapple shares a similar overall design to the company’s standard brush grapples but incorporates heavier-duty construction intended for aggressive commercial use.

According to I Dig Texas, the attachment features 5/8-in. tines across the grapple along with ¾ in. outside tines and a frame constructed using 4-in. square tubing with 3/8-in. wall thickness. The grapple also includes replaceable excavator teeth designed for handling brush, logs and debris in demanding conditions.

One feature designed to add versatility is the removable bridge system in the center of the grapple. According to the company, operators can configure the attachment to run with either a solid top or independent grapple tops depending on the material handling application.

The King Kong Brush Grapple also features a large grapple opening intended to help operators manage oversized brush piles and bulky material during land clearing operations.

I Dig Texas noted that the grapple is manufactured primarily in-house by its sister company, Amarekan MFG of Dewey, Okla. According to the company, the attachment is built using American-grade steel, with most major components manufactured internally.
