East End Interiors, a trade-only interior design showroom on Long Island, has opened a newly expanded showroom and design center in Hauppauge, N.Y.
The new location offers nearly four times the space to better serve the region’s growing community of interior designers, the East End Interiors noted in a release, and is situated next door to its Metropolitan Design School.
Rosalba Campitiello founded the interior design firm more than 35 years ago, and her family members later joined the business. The showroom offers case goods, rugs, textiles, lighting, outdoor furniture, and accessories from vendors such as Adriana Hoyos, Ann Gish, Arteriors, Baker and Bernhardt, among others. The company also regularly hosts educational presentations and events for designers.
“The new showroom builds on that legacy by creating an even more collaborative environment where designers can meet with clients, source products, and bring their creative visions to life,” the company said.
The Campitiello family also founded the interior design school, which it says reflects its “lifelong dedication to strengthening the profession by supporting both established designers and those just beginning their careers.”
Metropolitan Design School is a New York State-licensed private career school that offers a diploma program in interior design, according to the school’s website.
“This expansion is about more than opening a larger showroom,” the company said. “For more than 35 years, our family has been dedicated to helping designers succeed. Whether it’s through providing access to exceptional furnishings, creating meaningful industry relationships, or educating the next generation through Metropolitan Design School, everything we do is centered around strengthening the interior design community. This new space allows us to continue that mission for years to come.”
