Crystorama will join Black Designers Inc.to host Illuminating Connections, a speed-dating-style mixer and evening of roundtable discussions to close out ASID Gather: Catalyst next month.
ASID Gather: Catalystis a leadership conference hosted by the American Society of Interior Designers. It will take place Sept. 16 – 18, 2026 at Dallas Market Center, concurrent with ArchLight and Dallas Design Week.
Crystorama‘s event will take place Friday, Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. in its showroom at the Dallas Market Center (DTM 3503). Moving away from the traditional panel format, Illuminating Connections invites attendees to circulate freely among six themed roundtables, each hosted by interior designers, builders, and industry tastemakers offering candid, practical insight drawn from their own careers.
One table discussion, led by Marilyn LaVergne of Marilyn LaVergne Interiors, and Antonio DeLoatch of Antonio DeLoatch Designs, will be “Defining Your Design POV.”
At Table 2, the discussion will focus on “Styling, Curation & Diversifying Your Portfolio,” headed by Nikki Watson, founder and interior stylist, The Design Quad.
“From Concept to Build: Architecture & Development” will be the talk at Table 3, led by Joseph Jackson, architect and residential designer, Alake Enterprise, and Sam Ruben, owner of Ruben Legacy Homes.
At Table 4, the talk will be “Custom Construction, Renovation & The Unfiltered Truth” with expert Tiffany White, founder and principal designer of MidCity Interior Architecture & Designs.
Kristi Gulino, director of communications and brand partnerships at Crystorama, and Ashley Hughes, founder and principal of Muse Noir, will lead a discussion about “Brand & Marketing Partnerships” at Table 5.
And at Table 6, Nancy Lonoff, Crystorama principal and creative director, and Ryan Ranzino, Crystorama’s VP of sales, will lead “Crystorama: Trade Program & Custom Lighting.”
Each roundtable will run for the duration of the session, with guests welcome to arrive, participate and move between tables at any time.
“Community has always been at the center of who we are as a brand,” said Gulino. “Illuminating Connections gives designers a space to ask the questions they don’t always get to ask — in a setting that feels more like a conversation with a mentor than a formal panel. Partnering with Black Interior Designers, Inc. to bring this to Catalyst felt like a natural extension of that mission.”
As previously reported, Crystorama will also host a color psychology talk with Sherwin-Williams during Dallas Design Week.
