DENVER – The Denver Design District is revamping its brand identity and positioning to highlight its position “as the premier hub for design, culture, and creativity in the Rocky Mountain West.”
The District spans over 300,000 square feet with curated showrooms, high-end retail, culinary experiences, and a vibrant creative community. Among the design showrooms are Holland & Sherry, Kravet, Lexington Home Brands, Phillip Jeffries, Schumacher, Visual Comfort and Waterworks. Verellen is coming soon, according to the Denver Design District website.
The new brand, developed in collaboration with creative studio Wunder Werkz, builds on this legacy while creating a more inclusive and accessible destination for the trade as well as consumers and the broader creative community.
The updated visual identity draws inspiration from modernist principles of Bauhaus designer Herbert Bayer, whose iconic Articulated Wall sculpture anchors the campus. The new “DDD” mark embodies motion, progression and the District’s commitment to continuous evolution, the company said, while a custom typeface and new color palette further anchor the system in “timeless, human-centered design.”
“The new Denver Design District branding mirrors the energy and sophistication we’re seeing in the design landscape in the Rocky Mountain Region,” said Amy Gagliano, director of marketing & leasing.
“This transformation goes far beyond a visual update,” said Dan Cohen, CEO of the Denver Design District. “It signals the direction of Denver’s design future and underscores the strength and character of the uniquely curated, continually growing tenant roster that defines this location.”
