HIGH POINT – is expanding into the lighting category with more than 40 designs that will debut at High Point Market next month. The collection includes table lamps, floor lamps, and chandeliers.

“The same spirit of craftsmanship found in Century’s joinery and finishing techniques now extends to the artistry in their fixturing,” the company said in a release.

The features an interchangeable shade system that coordinates plaster, woven and linen shades with upholstery and window treatments. The collection offers two shapes, four sizes and the three aforementioned materials.

There is also a Cathedral Lantern intended for grand spaces, and the Torel series that features vertical cylinders of opal glass framed by precision-milled soft brass or soft nickel.

“Lighting isn’t just about fixtures,” says Justin Binnix, Century’s vice president of case goods, outdoor and lighting. “It’s about the warmth and mood that is created in a room. I am truly excited to be able to design lighting pieces that complement the furniture that we are known for and ultimately create a cohesive and all-inclusive setting for our customers.”
